Plagiarism Policy
Manuscript similarity check, tolerance limits, and violation consequences
IONTECH Journal is committed to ensuring the originality of all published works. Every manuscript will be checked using Turnitin or iThenticate software before proceeding to the review stage.
Main Policy:
- The similarity index is limited to maximum 25% (references and quotations are automatically excluded).
- Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be rejected or returned for revision.
- All forms of plagiarism (duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, data manipulation, false authorship claims) are strictly prohibited.
- Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and for providing proper citations.
The editorial board and reviewers reserve the right to reject, retract, or request revisions for any article proven to violate publication ethics, even after publication.
