Guidelines for Peer Reviewers — IONTECH Journal

★ Confidentiality

  • All submitted manuscripts are confidential.
  • Do not share any part of the manuscript without the editor’s permission.

★ Objectivity

  • Provide feedback that is objective, clear, and scientific.
  • Personal criticism of the authors is not acceptable.

★ Assessment Standards

  • Originality and novelty of the research
  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope
  • Clarity of research methodology
  • Validity of data analysis and interpretation
  • Appropriateness of conclusions based on findings
  • Language quality and adherence to the template
  • Completeness of citations and accuracy of references

★ Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline the assignment if they have any conflict of interest with the authors or the manuscript content.

★ Review Timeline

  • Reviews should be completed within 3 weeks of receiving the manuscript.
  • If more time is required, the reviewer must notify the editor in advance.
