Archiving & Repository Policy – IONTech Journal
Purpose, Allowed Versions, Guidelines, Permitted Repositories.

IONTech Journal allows authors to deposit their manuscripts in institutional, national, or subject-based repositories. This supports open dissemination and ensures proper citation and linking to the official published version.

Purpose

Authors are permitted to deposit their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, or other recognized open-access repositories to support dissemination and proper citation of the official journal version. The journal also participates in PKP PN, LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS archiving systems for long-term digital preservation.

Allowed Versions
  • Preprint: Submitted manuscript prior to peer review.
  • Postprint: Peer-reviewed, accepted manuscript (author’s version).
  • Published Version: Final published PDF.
Guidelines
  • No embargo for depositing any version.
  • Authors must include: Full citation of the published article, a direct link to the official journal version, and a clear copyright & license statement (CC BY 4.0).
Permitted Repositories
  • Institutional repositories (e.g., university digital repositories).
  • Subject-specific repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, arXiv).
  • Personal or departmental websites.
  • Other open-access repositories of the authors’ choice.
